Looking for a working cowgirl/boy that is a US citizen seeking a permanent long term position. Our training philosophy emphasizes a balanced partnership where both horse and rider feel confident, understood, and in control - creating horses that are willing and responsive. All horses on the property have been born here as have their mothers and grandmothers. We do not train outside horses nor have any boarders. Most of the horses have been sired by stallions who have produced over one million dollars in reining and cutting. We have recently started to use four of our own stallions to breed our mares. These stallions are taken off site to be bred so we have no breeding of mares on our site. Though we own only forty acres we have access to thousands of acres and frequently use our stallions and other horses to help our neighbor with his cattle.

Applicant should have a good background in handling young stock, starting/breaking many colts, and the ability to teach people and horses in a mentoring not dominating fashion. Our current staff has been here for several years, is responsible for taking care of the horses, and consists of young adults that are eager to learn more about horses and their training.

Our location offers the best of both worlds - the front of the property is within walking distance of places like Walmart, Chilli;s, Olive Garden, Starbucks, Home Depot, and Tractor Supply, while the back of the property views thousands of acres of open land.
