Duties of Current Occupation
Stall cleaning, feeding, supplement prep, grooming, clipping, tacking, hoof care, wound care, IM/IV injections, wrapping, vet/farrier coordination, health records, barn upkeep, grounds maintenance, and inventory management.
Equine Work Experience
One year full-time care of a gaited barefoot herd. Years of trusted care across private ranches. Feeding, grooming, tacking, injections, wound care, wrapping, and riding Western and English.
Specialities
I have limited experience working with foals and stallions, as I have primarily worked with mares and geldings. However, I do have experience with working on and leading teams, which has been woven throughout my career. I also have extensive experience managing horse turnouts within herds.
Type of Ride Work
I have experience riding a Blue Roan retired show horse and several beautiful Rocky Mountain Horses trained in gaited equitation for local shows. I focused heavily on flatwork while managing and caring for the gaited herd.
Competition Details
I have not worked in competition yards or fulfilled grooming for such events. I have, however, had extensive training in bathing, grooming, clipping and plaiting.
