Equine Work Experience

I have been riding and working with horses for the last 9 years and absolutely love it. I have worked at numerous barns over the years, taken lessons, and competed. I have known I always wanted to do something with horses for a living. However, over the years I have changed my mind on which equine occupation to be a part of, but the one constant is horses. A few years ago I went to a barn that made me into the rider I am today. I was able to have a great instructor and learn so many things about horses that many riders don't learn about. At this barn I was also exposed to many different diciplines, skills, and care for horses. Although I am better at and have more experience in some fields more than others I have tried many things. Over the years I have done hunt seat, equitation, jumpers, westwern, saddle seat, parelli horsemanship, showman ship, lunging, exercising. I also used to be a part of 4-H and this other class that was held at my barn. I also was a part of IEA for 3 years.

Type of Ride Work

I have been exposed and know a bit about majority of disciplines listed above. However, my best skills are hunter, jumper, equitation, and schooling/ exercising

Competition Details
