Bio
I have unique skills, including managing, bookkeeping (QuickBooks), as well as normal daily barn duties. I have broad knowledge in several equine areas including customer service, ground work ("natural horsemanship"), public relations.Qualifications
Countless clinics--as rider and auditor--with some of the best teachers in the world, and some not-so-great. I learn from everyone. Monty Roberts' 5-day horsemanship course in Solvang, Ca.
Duties of Current Occupation
STABLE: Show & travel prep., feeds management, daily Groom duties PLUS edit articles on dressage training and horsemanship. P.A.: Bookkeeping, home and ofc. organization and management, property management, elderly companion.
Equine Work Experience
Worked in dressage barns as groom and/or office staff in NY and FL. All normal duties from grooming, tacking-up, turnout, clipping to feeds and ordering supplies: Staff responsibilities including show entries, scheduling, maintaining records, billing, dealing with vendors/landlords.
Specialities
ORGANIZING! barns, trainers and offices. Skilled at navigating "difficult" personalities/customers. Dressage experience as groom, trainer ass't, NY-Fla-NY packing/organizing. Organizing clinics, writing newsletters, maintaining health/farrier/boarding records.
