Looking for seasonal jobs centered around wrangling, driving, and any ranch/farm work. Drove draft horses for weddings for 6 years, miss the work! Been working at farms since I was 11. Eager to learn and meet new folks!Documents
Duties of Current Occupation
Barn hand- Cleaning paddocks and stalls, feed and water responsibilities, medicine and turn out. Moving hay, dragging pastures, fence repair. Carriage driver for wedding venue, caretaker and trainer for draft horses.
Equine Work Experience
Riding experience over a decade, carriage driving drafts for 7 years and training green horses to drive. Went through a barefoot farrier program with Ida Hammer. Very comfortable and calm.
Specialities
Cared for maiden mare and foal, senior horses with strict regimented feeding schedules, treatments, medications, driven stallions for forestry logging, driving drafts for an event venue
Type of Ride Work
Majorly trail riding, long camping trips and endurance, not very polished riding equitation. Learning and practicing natural horsemanship.
