Duties of Current Occupation
Over 20 years of experience in all aspects of horse care, management, handling, and training with a primary focus on warmblood sport horses and breeding farms.
Equine Work Experience
I have a wide variety of over fifteen years working in the horse industry to various capacities: from general barn help, grooming for upper level trainers, self-employed horse training, working with and handling young horses and foals, and training at dressage barns. I have worked with some of the nation's top dressage trainers and am always continuing my education in dressage.
Specialities
- Working with horses of all ages from teaching the most basic skills to foals all the way up through refinement of training on upper level horses.
- Very driven worker who can work just as well alone with no supervision as I can in a team.
- Strong attention to detail in all aspects of horse care, training, and management - whether it is my job to muck a stall, ride, or groom. -Have handled all types of horses from foals to stallions. -I am a hard worker and I enjoy jobs where I can be busy
Type of Ride Work
Have worked at and ridden at dressage, hunter/jumper, and event barns, with a primary focus on dressage training. I enjoy everything from starting youngsters, putting a nice dressage foundation on horses to help them in other disciplines, or training an upper level dressage prospect up the levels.
