Gestüt Lewitz is one of the largest warmblood breeding farms in the world. Our focus is on the professional breaking and training of young sport horses (3–5 years).

About the position:
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Office Manager / Secretary to support our daily operations between office, management, and stable.
This is a key role in coordinating staff, horses, and daily workflows in a large and professional environment.
Your responsibilities
- Organisation & Administration
- Organisation and coordination of approx. 40 employees
- Planning working schedules and managing attendance
- Controlling working hours and overtime (with management)
- Holiday planning and daily presence control
Organising trial days and onboarding of new riders and grooms Supporting employees with paperwork and administrative processes
Stable Coordination:
- Coordinating daily operations in the stable (approx. 200 horses)
- Organising horse movements within the facilities
- Coordinating horse transport
Managing schedules for:
- veterinarians
- farriers
- training plans
- Monitoring stock levels and materials
- Supporting the health and wellbeing of the horses
Team & Communication Implementing company, safety, and working rules Acting as a link between management, trainers, and staff Supporting and guiding employees in a calm and structured way
👉 The main goal is to organise both people and horses efficiently and in a horse-friendly manner.
Requirements
Current English are a must! - other languages are also welcome.
Driving licence (car)

The experience gained in working on this yard, in my 22 months is equivalent of at least 8 years worth of experience (in my opinion!). You will be privileged to have seen, to ride, and to take care of young future sport horses. Many, many will go under your care and some will touch your hearts and linger in your memories. Honestly, it is all hard work but it is so worth it when you see young horse develop under your care. The trainers are straight forward, very communicative and the fellow grooms and riders all come from all parts of the world. In addition to this, the trainers will impart their invaluable knowledge, the dentist who come on a regular basis (and you will get to know them as they will see to 'your' horses) as well as the vets so in this sense, you learn something new on a daily basis. No two horses are the same, and yet every one of hem have left an hoof mark on my soul. Thank you for all the experiences!
