Okamoto Riding Club Japan is looking for a stable worker/all rounder for immediate start. Would also be suitable for a couple or 2 friends. Female preferred due to living arrangements.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get a start in the industry. Long or short stay possible.

The role would include all aspects of horse care from mucking out stables, feeding and grooming both at home and at competitions. Riding and teaching is also available if desired. You will need to be punctual, professional and able to work individually and as a team. Basic horse knowledge is needed but training will also be provided. Accomodation, wifi and the use of a staff car is available. International driver’s license would be beneficial. Weekly wage depending on experience and lessons provided if desired. We are a small team of young, friendly professionals coming from all parts of the world. English and Japanese spoken.

Okamoto Riding Club is a competitive dressage and showjumping stable located in Gotemba just two hours by train from Tokyo and right at the foot of Mt Fuji. Masami Okamoto has competed internationally in eventing to 4* and trained with the likes of Andrew Hoy. Masami has a wealth of knowledge that he is eager to pass on to those that are open to learning.

International driver licence would be beneficial.
