We’re seeking an experienced, mission-driven Site Manager for our Old Rancheria campus. This role blends hands-on program delivery, team leadership, daily operations oversight, and direct teaching of therapeutic riding and groundwork lessons. The Site Manager ensures high-quality program experiences, supports instructors and volunteers, and helps maintain a safe, professional, and engaging environment for participants and horses. This is an ideal role for a skilled equestrian with strong horsemanship abilities, experience working with people with disabilities, and a passion for inclusive, community-oriented programs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Program Leadership & Instruction Support daily program operations, stepping in as needed to maintain flow and safety. Mentor and supervise instructors. Teach therapeutic riding lessons, groundwork sessions, and activities for riders of all ages and abilities. Lead or support student orientations and family communication. Support major HCR events including the Annual Horse Show, Open House, and Fundraiser. Volunteer Coordination Partner with the Volunteer Manager to ensure coverage. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to volunteers. Build strong, engaged volunteer teams. Equine & Facility Oversight Collaborate with the Equine Manager on daily horse care, herd management, and training. Assist in evaluating and onboarding new horses. Communicate facility needs to the Facilities Manager. Administrative & Operational Support Manage the master schedule in Wranglr. Support instructors with lesson schedules and volunteer assignments.
