Equine Program Manager, Merrimac, MA and Georgetown, MA:
Exciting full time opportunity for an energetic professional, with passion for horses and people, to lead an engaging and inclusive mounted and unmounted Equestrian program for children and adults with disabilities. Responsibilities include teaching and scheduling lessons, the development of staff and Riding Instructors, assisting with the care for approximately 30 horses, and ensuring consistent training of horses. Requirements: Hold (or must obtain within 90 days of employment) a Massachusetts Horse Riding Instructor license. (Additional Path Certification and/or Para Coach Certificate or willingness to obtain, preferred.) Needs to demonstrate excellent management, riding, horsemanship, instructional communication, coordination of core skill development, and organizational skills. Must embrace and be able to meet the needs of students with a wide range of abilities, riding and therapeutic goals. Local travel required between Georgetown and Merrimac, MA. Some early evenings and occasional weekends required.
