We are starting the search for someone for our groom position at Lythrum Farm in Acton Ma! We’re only 12 stalls so we’re pretty small, and all of our boarders and I are incredibly nice. I’m a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medalist and compensation includes a lesson every week with me on our lesson horses. So here’s the deal: -We need someone with horse experience because we have a barn filled with warmbloods and we have tried the whole no horse experience route before and it went spectacularly wrong. -We need someone who is reliable and will show up to work. Ideally every day. -You need a positive attitude, grumpy cats and aggressive personalities will not vibe with the farm. I know every barn says it but we really do have a great work environment and everyone is super nice. Duties include turn out/in, some stalls, grain, handling for vet/farrier/chiro and normal farm stuff. We pay well and you get two days off a week.
