Private, well maintained farm in Middleburg,Va is seeking a reliable, detailed oriented, and experienced horse person to provide daily care of three horses. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized barn and providing attentive, thoughtful care to horses.
Responsibilities: Daily Feeding (hay,grain,supplements) Turn In/Out Horses Stall cleaning and Barn Upkeep High Standard Monitoring horses health, soundness, behavioral changes Grooming and basic horse horse care (blanketing, picking feet,etc.) Maintaining Clean water buckets Keeping feed room, tack, and indoor arena neat and organized. Assist with Vet and Farrier Appointments
Available for overnight stays in barn apartment accommodations when owner is traveling for additional compensation.
Five Days a Week / 40 hr Week Additional Days available for extra Money
Requirements
Able to lift 50 Pounds Horse Experience 3-5 years Non Smoking - Drug Free is a Must Responsible and Kind
